Many players seem to be experiencing connection issues to the Duel Accelerator Servers after game updates.

Why?

This is probably due to the amount of bandwidth allocated to the update and game servers and this bandwidth is under heavy load, feeding out the updates to all it's users AND running the game as per usual.

What can I do?

You can make sure you have a clean fast PC and steady connection.

How?

Try limit your web activities while playing the game. Avoid using things like Xbox live, PSN and watching youtube etc. Check your system for malware and spyware. And watch out for many of those browser plugins and toolbars that I so often see on so many peoples systems. Most (99%) are nasty pieces of crap that are more intrusive than you think. If you have a dozen icons down next to your system clock. Get rid of them. You don't need MOST of that crap running all the time.

The more unnecessary crap you have running on your system , the less resources you have to use for what you really want.

It's often a good idea to check your systems resource usage to see what is using what. Look for the memory hogs and turn them off.

There are of course many more tweaks you can do to speed up your system and connection but, those mentioned above are the main culprits responsible for slowing you down.
