BoAfanYZ defeated toyrau of Japan to earn the coveted title of YOC winner. Boafan road the path of bushido with his samurai through a wall of contenders and then onward to victor;y. toyrau put up a valiant effort with their plant/synchro hybrid deck draggin the duel out to 3 rounds but was ultimately stopped with a combination of counter traps and royal oppression.

Duelists who participated in this season's preliminary round of YOC were awarded the Yusei Red duel disk as a bonus. Duelists who made it through the preliminaries were awarded the title YOC qualifier 1 YOC card and a special outfit as they progressed the awards increased to the max of 5 YOC cards 1 of which is one of a kind and 1 of which only 2 are issued both the YOC winner and YOC runnerup were awarded special duel disks. The YOC winner duel disk is awarded only once a season both the winner and runnnerup were awarded the YOC finalist duel disk.
