Rulebook version 8.0 has been released on the main konami website. It is by far the best version of their official rules to date, but is still lacking in the in depth explanation and finesse that is needed to truly understand the game. I was particularly disappointed in the way they explain how quick-play spell cards work. As long as we are on the subject I would like to take a moment to pause and reflect on the "unwritten" rules that make up the Online Game.
1. Don't rate a player badly because you lost to them.
I have noticed an appaling amount of players with terrible ratings even though they are decent people all because somebody was upset that they lost.
2. Don't spam the chat box with the same offer again and again x100
Not only is this rude but it makes other players that want to see other offers unable to focus on them. You are also setting yourself up to be ignore listed by thoes players thereby defeating the purpose.
3. Don't type in ALL CAPS in chat, that is the online equivalent of shouting.
4. Don't ask for more in trade than was originally offered.
You are one doing a bait and switch on a player and ruiniing their chances to trade the cards to other players. If you don't like their offer pm a seperate offer. DON'T SEND A TRADE REQUEST IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE OFFER!
5. Don't dissconnect because you lost, don't delay the timer to make someone quit.
Also the Yu-gioh Championships are hitting Columbus Ohia October 22-23 more on that in the next article.
If anyone feels that an addjustment needs to be made in the price list send me a message in the forum and I will look into it.
