Takashi Ogawa triumphed over fellow Japanese player Kei MuraKoshi to win the 2011 TCG World Championships in Amsterdam. Ogawa rode his agent deck to victory over Kei's Plant/Junk hybrid. Expect card prices and demand to shift towards players attempting to emulate his success in the online card game.

Lee Jong-Hwan of South Korea proved his video gaming skills by capturing the Title King of Duelists in World Championship 2011 Over the Nexus, Defeating Makoto Ito.
