Two of the three "Kings of Duelists" have been crowned over the weekend. Galileo De Obaldia of Panama and Arturo Oviedo of Spain captured the TCG and Video Game Championships respectively.

According to konami.com Obaldia's final match was particularly exciting as he lost the first round of his final match despite drawing nearly every card in his deck. His killer OTK frog recipe was pitted against Vincent Paglia's Blackwings lockout strategy. In the Final Round Obaldia summoned Black Rose Dragon to escape a nearly complete lock from Paglia and finished with Light and Darkness Dragon to capture the title. Oviedo and Obaldia acquired 1 Stardust Divinity Card, so far there are only 2 of this card in existance. With Divinity's power if you attack directly and reduce your opponent's lifepoints to 0 you win the match. Here is a pic.

The next top three finishers for both the video game and Trading Card Game Received the uber-rare Grizzly, the Red Star Beast here is a pic of it and it's effect.

The next major Yu-gi-oh event in North America "The Yu-gi-oh Championship Series" will be held in Toronto Canada from September 4-5.
