Duel Accelerator DeckZone
In the last few years, Konami have been releasing Duel Terminal, OCG Exclusive and Extra Pack cards to the Online game in the form of event cards. This system's been changed on account of the Duel Terminal cards are being released as pack cards, which is fine by me
. What we have to look at, is the type of cards that will be released into the game, and flip it upside down.
Packlists of the Extra Packs released into the OCG are HERE, HERE and HERE. These packs are made up of previously TCG Exclusive Cards, and as far as I'm aware, all cards from the 1st Extra Pack are available online and were all event cards. I don't think any Extra Pack 2 cards are released yet, but either they'll be released as a separate pack (which I doubt) or event cards in the near future.
First off, we have more Lightsworn support. Now I'm not sure why we haven't had them released yet, they're releasing newer cards than these, so Konami are doing things in reverse order. Firstly, we have Charge of the Light Brigade, this card makes it unbelievably easy to make Lightsworn hybrids, the most famous being the Lightsworn/Zombie, that had good success with Mezuki at 2 and Charge at 3. The next best card is Ehren Lightsworn Monk, which is nigh on Godly. One downside is that it doesn't negate flip effects, but it can get rid of those pesky Spirit Reapers and Marshmallons. Aurkus Lightsworn Druid is a card not to be overlooked, it stops Caius, Raiza, Brain Control, etc. Overall, consider BW's a thing of the past if Charge is released without limitation.
Six Samurais. I remember how mad I got whenever I got played against Six Samurais in Gunslinger, on 4 stars and feeling confident, and then seeing that classic Six Samurai Irou, and almost shouting. I think I chewed through 4 pairs of headphones that season. Here we are with a very, very good support card coming out in the future. Hand of the Six Samurai. Hand of the Six Samurai gives the decktype an opportunity to speed up the process of mass beatdown by destroying any possible Floaters (Tomatoes, Giant Rats, etc.) This coupled with Gateway of the Six, which will more than likely be another event card, very far in the future means they're going to be a force to be reckoned with, again.
That's all for this issue, I can't really see about 5 other Archtypes fitting into a digestible post, so until next time, thanks for reading, and comments are welcome ![]()

About
There are three modes of play: Quick Match, Ranked Match, and Custom Match. Quick Match lets you jump in and compete with anyone online, whereas in Custom Match you can tailor the game to your preferences and change the rules. Ranked Match pits you against other players who have similar abilities, and your progress will be tracked online.Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels lets you play with anyone online, and you can also team up and play with up to four players. As you win tournaments, whether it's against the computer or other players, you'll earn more cards to add to your initial 42-card deck. There will also be the option to purchase more cards through the Xbox Live marketplace. Unlike in the DS games, the cards will be selected the entire series, and the developers are aiming to include at least 1,500 to 2,000 cards.

And this is where Blackwings bring a gun to a knife fight. In this pack, there is enough Blackwing support to perch them at the top of the metagame for a considerable amount of time, and at the rate of packs being released, it's only going to get stronger towards Pack 53 (With the release of Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor, but I'll talk about that next pack). But there are a few more fun decks to be looked at, and the all brand new archetype Koa'Ki Meiru.
So, what cards in particular make Blackwings so devastating this format? I can promise you Blackwing - Elphin the Raven is not a good choice, honest. What you should be looking at mainly is Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow, Blackwing - Armed Wing, Blackwing - Blizzard of the Far North and Black Whirlwind. Blizzard is capable of giving an instant +1, or access to many level 5 and 6 Synchros, including BW Armed Wing, Goyo Guardian and Brionac. Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow acts as an Honest for the archetype, while Black Whirlwind provides the Reinforcement of the Army, that you can reuse at will.
But on with Morphtronics. Many people laughed at me when I turned up at my tournament wielding a deck that cost me about £20 (or $30). And I laughed twice as much when I beat their £200 decks in a turn. Using new cards like Junk Box, or Morphtronic Scopen, and old cards like Morphtronic Celfon (which is the key in this deck) you can swarm the field incredibly fast. It's hard to explain how it works through words, so I'll leave you all to try it. ![]()
Koa'Ki Meiru cards were made to seemingly annoy the living hell out of all Light and Dark based decks. The deck has a major flaw in the sense that you can only keep them on the field for one turn unless you discard oneIron Core of Koa'Ki Meiru or revealing one monster of the same type in your hand, but some monsters don't have the secondary effect. Koa'Ki Meiru Drago seems intent on stopping all Special Summons by both attributes, and other cards in the set help keep control over the opponent. But the total number of monsters in this pack isn't as much as I'd like it to be, but in the next few packs it'll get better.
And here we are, at the end of the article, and while I'm looking through the packlist on yugioh wikia, I see that the Ojama cards, Ojama Red, Ojama Blue and Ojama Country, aren't in there
. So I leave on a sad note, until next time, thanks for reading.
